Luis
Ben has trained extensively at both The Actors Center of San Francisco under Shelley Mitchell, and The Euro-Acting School under the famed Hungarian actress, Kristina Peremartoni in San Francisco. He’s appeared in various independent movies and black box plays in the bay area. His directing experience includes Waking Dreams, which was selected and performed at the 2003 APAture arts festival, as well as the AATC NewWorks Incubator program in San Francisco. Aside from performing as a stage and film actor and director, Ben is also a playwright and fiction writer. His latest play, The Dead Lie Different, is currently under development. Ben
Juana Samayoa

Juana Samayoa is a busy actor and singer in San Francisco. She is currently in a 3 woman musical show, Left Overs and has recently appeared as the lead in over a dozen shorts. One of these, The Waves screened at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival. Her one feature film, Mission Movie just won Best Feature at the NY Int'l Latino Film Festival. She honed her improv skills with Sue Walden & Co and has trained for many years with acting/singing coach, (Shari Carlson.com). She has commercial representation with Tonry Talent. Juana

Sonja Starkovich
GIRL IN HER 20s
Sonja Starkovich is a Bay Area actor who was most recently seen in City Light Theatre’s A Shayna Maidel. She received her B.A. in Acting from SFSU after studying at Middlesex University, London and has since performed with various companies including Lunatique Fantastique & Palo Alto Players. Her favorite roles include Joan of Arc (Chamber Music) and Susan B. Anthony (This One Thing I Do). She is excited to be a part of the Diez production. Sonja
Araceli Gonzalez

Araceli Marie is a seven year old bilingual (Spanish speaking) actress from Northern California. She is in the second grade. Araceli's other credits (other than her role in DIEZ) are: She co-starred in the Mission Movie-Una Pelicula de la Mission, an independent film that won 1st place at the New York Latino Film Festival. Currently, she has a lead role in The Recue, a documentary film for the History Channel on Cable TV. In the past Araceli has participated in the Hawaiin Tropic Beauty Pageants, where she won the title of First Princess in the prelimanaries. She loves acting, dancing and singing. Araceli
Jacqueline Gonzalez

Jacqueline Gonzalez has been acting since she was about 16 years old. She was born and raised in Hayward, California and is of Mexican decent. Before being cast in DIEZ, Jacqueline was seen in a model documentary for John Robert Powers, Inc. in SF which aired on the Learning Channel in 1995. Stephen Tures started acting at the age of 8, playing various bit roles in his hometown of El Paso, Texas. Stephen Tures attended the University of San Francisco with a degree in Media Studies under instruction of the director/editor for The Weather Underground, Sam Green. At this time, he has been immersing himself in acting and the production of various short films such as Diez, Script Kiddie, and Immogene and Hummeldorf. Stephen
